About Us
Although new to NWA, member based or “retainer” based primary care practices have been growing in popularity across the nation since the mid 90’s. This member-based model allows us to direct our focus on your overall health, wellness and concerns.
Mark E. Miller, MD
Physician, Owner
A native of Arkansas, Dr. Mark Miller graduated medical school and completed his residency in Family Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice.Dr. Miller is the staff physician and medical director for TruHealth Family Care. His responsibilities include seeing patients for primary care and overseeing the clinical staff.
Dr. Miller and his wife Shelly have 3 children, ages 15, 9, and 7. In his spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys playing golf and basketball, and spending time with his family and friends. He attends Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell, is a staff volunteer at Life Source, and is on the Board of Directors for K-Life.

Rebecca Botkin, APN, BC-FNP
Advanced Practice Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner
As a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Rebecca is a primary care provider for TruHealth Family Care. She has 3 children and, in her spare time, enjoys photography and scrapbooking.
Rebecca's education and training includes a BS in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics from the University of AR in Fayetteville, AR; BS in Nursing (Summa Cum Laude) from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO; MS in Nursing (Summa Cum Laude) from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. Rebecca is a Member of the American Nurses Association.
Here at TruHealth Family Care, we develop meaningful relationships with our patients and we know them on a first name basis.
Darlene J Brehm, AAS, RMA, LLRT
Facility Administrator, Registered Medical Assistant, Limited License Radiology Technician
Darlene is responsible for managing the TruHealth facility. She takes care of patients' individual needs, check in, labs, wound dressing, injections, X-rays, and more. Darlene's education and training includes Medical Assisting School in Fayetteville, AR; LLRT School in Fayetteville, AR; N.A.S. in Human Services; and BS in Counseling.
Darlene is the married mother of one, with a grandchild in college in Upstate New York. She has many interests an hobbies, but gardening and animals are among her favorites.
TruHealth provides quality care in a casual, friendly atmosphere with a truly caring staff.
Brian Reed, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Brian's primary responsibilities are to evaluate patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and to implement a care plan. He has formal training in the areas of Internal Medicine, and Orthopedics, and as Hospitalist.
Brian's hobbies include golfing, bike riding, playing with his dog, going to the lake, and attending UA sporting events.
What stands out to me, as part of the team here at TruHealth, is the amount of time and personal attention that is given to each and every patient.
