How is TruHealth Family Care different from other primary care practices?

As the first affordable member-based primary care practice in Northwest Arkansas, TruHealth Family Care is committed to preserving that vital patient-physician relationship by combining the primary care medicine and personalized service of the past with the technology of today. Leading the way with outstanding clinicians, TruHealth Family Care offers a healing environment and patient-oriented services.

By limiting the size of our practice, our providers will be able to see fewer patients per day, and thus allowing us ample time to evaluate each patient’s problems and concerns. Additionally, time spent in the waiting room will be minimized.

At TruHealth, we allow our members to contact us by phone or e-mail to initiate the care process. Sometimes medical needs can be met without an office visit. Because we are reimbursed only by seeing patients in the clinic, we can use whatever means are most convenient for the patient when possible.

Who would benefit from Truhealth Family Care?

TruHealth Family Care is ideal for individuals, families, young adults and college students. Busy executives appreciate the availability, prompt attention, and efficient service. Mothers of small children can avoid crowded waiting rooms and reduce risk of exposing children to ill patients. People with significant health issues can have a physician with time to thoroughly evaluate all their concerns. TruHealth Family Care is also an option for the self-employed or self-insured or even uninsured person looking for great service and value with their healthcare dollars.

What about insurance?

To provide affordable primary care, TruHealth Family Care will not bill any commercial or government insurance plans. TruHealth Family Care fees cover only the services Dr. Miller and his staff provide. We recommend our members have insurance coverage for services and care not provided by Dr. Miller and his staff. Remember, TruHealth Family Care is a member-based primary care practice, not a health insurance policy.

What if I need a specialist?

Will I be able to join TruHealth Family Care in the future?

In order to maintain a small, personalized practice, TruHealth Family Care is limiting the number of patients that can be enrolled. When the practice is full, a waiting list will be maintained to replace patients that have moved away.
